located in the beautiful region of the brie (the famous french cheese is made here!) the village of crécy la chapelle is also called the 'venice of the brie'. like in venice many canals are crossing the village en the picturesque bridges indeed remind of venice. these canals were constructed around the walls of the town to protect the locals in the middle ages.
