Le grand dague is beautifully located in the countryside of the dordogne, in the heart of a forest. there are lots of facilities on site. try a canoe trip and explore the lovely area surrounding the campsite. nearby périgueux, the capital of périgord, is worth a visit as it's a pleasant mix of past and present. the medieval city centre has the remains of a roman temple. at le grand dague you can stay in a mobile home, bungalow tent or a safari tent. the safari tents are located in the forest area of the campsite. pitches are also available if you prefer to stay in your own tent or caravan.
